Galacticos Soccer Services has evolved from Galacticos Soccer Academy, which was founded in 2010 by Tony Robinson and Jimmy Hayes in Liverpool, UK to develop talented young footballers and provide them trials with professional academies. Our network started by collaborating with the academies of Manchester City, Blackburn Rovers, Blackpool and Tranmere Rovers.
By 2014, we had secured many academy contracts by increasing our network to most of the north west of England, formed strategic associations with some elite English private soccer & education programmes, secured our first USA soccer scholarships and hosted our first international team tour.
The resounding success of an international tour prompted Jimmy to form the 5-star service that is now one of our strategic partners – Pro Soccer Global. Meanwhile, Tony ventured into the world of soccer intermediary (agent), which allowed him to develop a global network, while continuing to develop talented players and provide career pathways.
The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to revise our business strategy and diversify into multiple services that would lower the risk of the business failing. This lead to the re-branding of the business to Galacticos Soccer Services, which comprises:
Our Elite Development Mentoring service for players at all levels of the game
Our aftercare service for released professional academy players to achieve career pathways in football
Our Bermuda Football Strategic Expansion Program – a project with a vison to qualify for the 2030 World Cups
Our pathways partnerships with South Shields FC, Fleetwood Town FC, Inspire Development Academy (Sheffield), Steven Gerrard Academy and Hartpury University & College, to globally recruit high school, college/upper secondary, and university students into their elite Education AND/OR Football Programmes
To date, we have produced 11 professional players, 53 English academy players and secured 30 USA soccer scholarships, with Jordan Man twice being voted NAIA National Student Athlete of the year.
